"Hey! My name is Javeria and I’m the President and Founder of ACT YYC. I’m currently in my third year of undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary, studying Psychology. I founded the organization after being exposed to the lack of support and resources that low-income and impoverished immigrants, women, and youth have access to in Calgary and later opened a chapter at the University of Calgary to provide a way for students to get involved in our cause. In addition to my interests in supporting impoverished individuals, I enjoy hiking and almost anything to do with nature!"

"Hi everyone! My name is Navleen and I’m the Executive Vice President of ACT YYC. I’m currently going into my third year at the University of Calgary pursuing a major in psychology. I enjoy being part of the ACT YYC team because we make a difference while inspiring and motivating others to do the same. I additionally take pleasure in baking, shopping and going out in nature."

In my free time, I like to camp outdoors, travel, and play video games."

I am entering into my third year at the University of Calgary, majoring in Energy and Professional Land Management at Haskayne School of Business. I love being a part of ACT YYC as we get to help out families in need around Calgary and truly make a difference. My hobbies include hiking, walking, all things nature, friend and family-time and reading."

"Hello everyone! My name is Azka and I am the Executive Secretary for the upcoming year with ACT YYC. I am currently a fourth-year mechanical engineering student at the University of Calgary. I enjoy working with ACT YYC as I love being part of something that helps and inspires the community we live in and I look forward to seeing you in the events we have planned for the year. Other than that, I enjoy writing, reading, and dancing in my free time and also love discussing the Harry Potter series so if you ever want to discuss theories feel free to DM me!"
